The Veil, functional sculpture
by Giles Miller Studio
The Veil is a 17-meter-long brass sculpture suspended across the first floor of a historic building on London’s St. James Street. Designed by Giles Miller Studio, the installation serves both aesthetic and functional purposes: it conceals a mezzanine office from the lobby below while allowing light to filter through and enabling occupants to see out.
My role was to develop the parametric model of the structure, creating laser-cutouts for the fabrication.
